So we finally arrived in Berlin. But it turned in to a bigger trip than expected. It ended up taking 38 hours and 3 planes to get it. I was very happy that the airline upgraded us to business class on the first flight. But it was back to economy for the long leg to Europe. It was the 9 hour wait in Asia in the cold airport where I picked up a cold. But I’m feeling better now.
Once we dropped our gear at the hotel we showered and headed out to the Christmas markets to grab some lunch. The CurryWurst is most likely not very healthy, but it was the tastiest thing I had eaten in 2 days. And washed down with the yummy warm Gluhwein.
I was terribly jet lagged when NYE night rolled around. I saw the fireworks earlier in the evening, but I couldn’t stay awake for the big show at midnight. Not even the loud bangs and fireworks right outside my hotel could wake me. I can’t believe people here are allowed to light fireworks anywhere in the streets. And for some strange reason the Berliners like to set off fireworks that just make an explosive sound. It’s really hard to get used to hearing what sounds like bombs going off between the city buildings. Needless to say that there were plenty of ambulance sirens going all night long too.
One of the reasons why I like coming to Berlin around Christmas time is because it feels like a real Christmas here. Back at home in Australia it’s usually really hot and we spend most of the time trying to find a place to cool down. In Berlin everyone comes out to the Christmas markets to eat, drink, and generally be merry. This year I got the best of both worlds. I got to be with my family on Christmas day in Australia, and then fly to Germany to catch the tail end of Christmas here.
While we are getting over the jet lag we have been doing a little touring around the city. I’ve been to Berlin many times, but I’ve never actually been around the Potsdam Platz area. It’s actually very nice around there, though a little more quiet than the Schoneberg area where I like to stay.
It’s now day 4 of the trip and we are already getting busy meeting guys and shooting new scenes. I love Berlin and it’s hundreds of dirty boys… all wanting to put on a hot show. We have had a lot of fun so far. The next few days are going to be very busy.

I got to meet some pretty interesting characters this year. And one that pops to mind is my shoot with Vinne Gambino. This straight Italian boy popped around to my hotel in New York for this shoot with me. I’ve met some guys with a lot of confidence. Vinnie has got the balls to try anything! Even though he found it a little hard getting off with another guy in the room, he looked great and made a great jerk off video. It started me thinking if straight guys doing porn have more confidence than gay guys doing porn? I ask this because it really must take a lot of guts for a straight guy to strip and perform in front of other guys. I guess I’m starting to see this more as I’ve been shooting a lot more straight guys this year. I will post Vinnie’s behind the scenes video soon. I love his Italian/New York accent.

I am visiting the Gold Coast for a few days to see my family for Christmas. The weather is brilliant up here! Nice and long hot days. I am still working, but I am lucky that I can work away from home or the office. And I have a couple of days back in Melbourne before we head to Germany to get things finished up. I can’t believe the year has gone so quickly. It doesn’t seem that long ago that we spent the last Christmas in Berlin. I’m really looking forward to going on vacation again. The last few months have been really busy. I’m hoping I’ll be able to devote more time to the site in the new year.

You knew it wasn’t going to be long before I asked Max to get naked outside right? Th stunning Aussie was totally up for nuding up out on my apartment’s rooftop. But this time our mate had an audience to cheer him on. Max brought his girlfriend along who wanted to see how one of our shoots would go down. I could tell that he was a little awkward at first, but then he started pulling the poses as Zac clicked away. It’s hard not to get a good shot of Max. It took me a long time to pic the photos for his gallery.

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve actually spent Christmas in Australia. This year is unusual because I’ll be having both a summer and winter Christmas. I’ll be in Queensland next week spending Christmas with my family, having barbeques and swimming in the pool on the sweltering hot days. Then in the days right after Christmas I’ll be jumping on a plane to fly to Berlin. So I’m preparing for both seasons. The giant task of editing all the updates for the 4 week period has almost finished. Then I can concentrate on meeting new guys while we are travelling. Once we get back to Australia late in January I’ll start the outdoor shoots again. I’m really looking forward to having these weeks off from my day job so I can concentrate on shooting.

I’ve had a great response from the scene between Ryan and newcomer Henry this week. The video of their shoot will be posted up tomorrow. With so many straight guys coming along lately it had been a while since I had filmed a gay sex scene. I’ll be pairing more of our mates up over the coming weeks. I already have some guys who want to do scenes with us in Germany. Then when we get back in January we’ll get back in to filming outdoors. January and February is always the hottest time of the year here. So I’m planning to make the most of it and film new scenes every week.

You might have noticed that there hasn’t been many posts on the blog recently. I’ve been busy editing like crazy to get all the updates prepared for when we leave for Germany later this month. After I visit my family for Christmas we will make the long trip across to Berlin. I want to make sure there are plenty of galleries and videos to post while I’m travelling over there. I’m hoping to meet up with some of the guys we met there last year like Axel, Kane, Brady and Ygor. I’m sure we’ll meet some new guys too. Even though it’s not the best time to be taking photos in Europe, I love being there in the snow. It’s something I don’t get to see here. The original plan was to take my family to Europe for Christmas this year, but my dad has been unwell. So I’ve changed the plan to spend Christmas here with them and head to Europe after Christmas. So I will be spending the Christmas/New Year period in summer and winter. The pic above was taken during Christmas in Berlin last year at the entrance to the Tiergarden.

Okay so by now you know I have a thing for European guys. That’s why I end up shooting them so often. I couldn’t resist when I saw pics of Lucas on his online profile. This guy is even hotter in real life. I can tell you that his photos are hot in the scene, but the video is even hotter. Zac shot with Lucas. I hope I will get to shoot with him this summer too.

I can’t believe I’ve never heard Nick Bracks talk before this week when I saw him launching his new undie line on the morning show. I have a huge crush on this all Australian boy with the buff body. This VIDEO was a huge treat when I spotted Nick pop up on the Sydney morning show. What’s more dangerous is that Nick actually lives nearby. Nick even parades in his undies with the other models on the show. You can tell he’s a little nervous as he gives an interview to the women whilst being practically naked.
